Definition:
Potent catecholamine that's released in the body naturally when sympathetic nervous system is stimulated. Ex. If a patient's anxious, having pain, scared, upset. All this causes sympathetic nervous system stimulation.
Usage:
My grandma's UTI led to her septic shock. They have her on a levo drip now. If she misses Thanksgiving, who's going to make the giblet gravy?
