Lasix. Lasix a.k.a Furosemide is a potent diuretic (water pill) that is used to eliminate water and salt from the body. In the kidneys, salt (composed of sodium and chloride), water, and other small molecules normally are filtered out of the blood and into the tubules of the kidney. It's sometimes called "Vitamin P" because the diuretic makes you urinate.

Urine osmolality (abbreviate as such in charting). Urine osmolality is a measure of urine concentration, in which large values indicate concentrated urine and small values indicate diluted urine. In healthy individuals with restricted fluid intake, urine osmolality should be greater than 800mOsm/Kg, while a 24 hour urine osmolality should average between 500 and 800 mOsm/Kg and a random urine osmolality should average 300 and 900 mOsm/Kg.
